The foundations laid by Salvo were solid enough to withstand more than a century of progress and turmoil. Over the last two decades, the present generation of Salvo Grima’s direct descendants embarked on a bold programme of diversification, and the group now runs a strong versatile network of varied business interests. Starting from the nineteen eighties, with the setting up of a travel retail arm, the group then went on to be the first to operate a warehouse at the Malta Freeport. Since then, relentless progress has been made and the group now holds a substantial portfolio of direct and shared investments, both locally and abroad.
