Due to our expansion, a new role within our Malta-based finance team has arisen!
We are currently seeking a full-time Accountant who will be responsible for our international businesses’ financial aspect.
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervising the maintenance of subsidiary ledgers and other financial records of one or more business units;
- Supervising finance teams based in our international subsidiaries;
- Assisting in the process of preparing management accounts and in year-end processes;
- Supporting the Management team of assigned business units and team members where required;
- Liaising closely with group auditors and with local and international banks;
- Be the financial point of contact with our commercial partners;
- Preparing forecasts, budgets, up-to-date cash flow analysis, debtor & creditor positions, and other financial reports;
- Contributing to the ongoing development and strengthening of internal controls.
The ideal candidate:
- Is detail-oriented, accurate and motivated;
- Has the ability work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
- A fully qualified or warranted Accountant, or someone who has acquired or is in the process of acquiring the ACCA qualifications or any other comparable recognized Accounting qualification;
- Has excellent communication and reporting skills;
- Relevant experience in an international company would be an asset.
- Willing to travel to our international subsidiaries.
