We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our Business Applications and Data Analytics team based in Malta.
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cloud Infrastructure Oversight: Managing and optimizing the performance of our cloud-based infrastructure, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Data Warehouse Oversight: Administering data warehouse operations, ensuring data integrity, availability, and optimal query performance.
- Security Measures: Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
- Collaborative Efforts: Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to align security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and implementing measures to protect against potential threats.
- System Performance Optimization: Conducting regular system performance assessments, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to optimize overall functionality.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Be in possession of a degree in ICT, Engineering or a related field.
- Have proven experience as a Cloud Administrator or in a similar role.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
- Have experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure.
- Be skilled in overseeing data warehouse operations, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Be knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining security measures, including access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
- Show strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate efforts with internal teams and external partners.
