Salvo Grima Group specialises in the distribution of consumer goods across domestic markets in East and North Africa on behalf of global brands. We focus specifically on food, homecare, personal hygiene, stationery and tobacco and we operate in line with the high standards expected by our clients and principals.
Our Group has been an established distributor in the Mediterranean and North African region since 1983, extending into Central and East Africa over the past years.
Rwanda & Central Africa
Salvo Grima Group’s headquarters and main showroom are based in the Central Business District of Kigali and we run a network of ten stock depots based in Kigali, Muhanga, Huye, Kayonza, Nyagatare, Musanze, Rubavu and Ruisizi, with a main logistics centre in the Kigali Special Economic Zone.
Rwanda is one of Africa’s fasted growing economies, with excellent business support services and a well-educated workforce. Rwanda also serves as a strategically-located base for export to neighbouring markets in East and Central Africa.
Libya & Mediterranean Region Distribution
Salvo Grima Group has been an established distributor in the Mediterranean and North Africa for over 30 years. In the region, today we are the sole national distributors for several prestigious multinational brands in Malta and Libya.
Through our professional Libya-based teams, we combine an established distribution network with modern field sales software, giving us direct visibility and insight into the local market. Our solid foundations in Libya have empowered us to successfully introduce new brands in line with local market legislation and achieve a consistently-growing market despite the country’s inherent instability.
We are the National Distributors for British American Tobacco across the entire Libyan territory since our appointment in 2015. We are also National Distributors for Swedish Match in Malta and Libya.
