With over 25 years of experience at international airports in Malta and North Africa, and a presence in the cruise port travel retail sector since 1984, this industry is a core pillar for Salvo Grima Group. Among our esteemed business partners are renowned global travel retailer Gebr. Heinemann, with whom we have an official partnership for over 20 years and with whom we have extensive collaborations across a number of concessions.

Gebr. Heinemann is a prominent player in the duty-free and travel retail industry, operating over 600 shops at 74 airports in more than 100 countries.

Together Salvo Grima Group and Gebr. Heinemann have operated concessions such as Tripoli International airport, and we continue to jointly pursue new opportunities and collaborate in numerous ways including:

To create a cohesive and professional image across all our travel retail outlets, we operate under the unified brand name ‘Horizon.’ The Horizon logo embodies our core values and vision.

Central to the logo icon are sun rays and a rising sun, which evoke a sense of new beginnings and adventure associated with travel. A gift bow signifies the joy of gifting—a key part of shopping abroad—while a shopping bag highlights the convenience and enjoyment of the retail experience.
