The International Business & Retail Unit is part of the Group distributing internationally renowned brands within the FMCG industry, also operating a line of travel retail shops.
Due to our growth, we are looking for a versatile and diligent individual to join our team as a Storekeeper, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the effective management, control, and organisation of warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and operational discipline across all stock movements, with particular attention to fashion and accessories categories.
The duties include:
- Manage the storage, organisation, and overall upkeep of warehouse inventory;
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper documentation;
- Maintain a clean, structured, and efficient warehouse environment at all times;
- Ensure accurate use of the company’s ERP system for all inventory movements and records;
- Prepare and maintain all supporting documentation related to inbound and outbound stock movements;
- Prepare stock for outbound shipments, ensuring correct picking, handling, and packaging standards;
- Coordinate internally to ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipments;
- Participate in regular stock counts and inventory audits, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly;
- Support general warehouse and logistics operations as required;
- Prepare accurate invoicing for established customers where applicable;
- Support with the occasional delivery to an established customer base.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Proven experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations, with experience handling fashion and accessories considered an advantage;
- Experience handling high-value goods (e.g. fashion, accessories, perfumes, liquors) a plus;
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, particularly in SKU and variant accuracy;
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to occasionally travel as required by the company;
- Familiarity with basic inventory software or willingness to learn.
