FMCG Distribution in Rwanda

East Africa has long been a market with potential unlike anywhere else in the world. Salvo Grima Group first launched national distribution operations in Rwanda in 2020, that also enabled us to reach into neighbouring DR Congo and Burundi. We then set our sights beyond this initial footprint by further expanding into Uganda and Kenya in 2025.

Rooted in Kigali

Our Kigali headquarters brings offices, warehousing and dispatch together on a single site, keeping planning and fulfilment under one roof. From here, our regional depots extend delivery across Rwanda, from Kigali to provincial trading centres.

Our main logistics centre is in the Kigali Special Economic Zone and we run a network of nine other stock depots, based in DP World: Kigali, Nyabugogo, Muhanga, Huye, Kayonza, Nyagatare, Musanze, Rubavu and Rusizi.

Salvo Grima Rwanda is the national distributor for 10 multinational manufacturers across Rwanda, running more than ten logistics hubs, employing 106 people and reaching a network of 7,000 retail outlets.

Our operations are supported by the latest data analytics software and data warehousing systems to ensure data-driven decision-making, planning and reporting required by global brands.

Our corporate office is located at the iconic I&M Bank Building in Kigali, and we operate from a network of stock points spread across the country, with 30+ vehicles.
