We are seeking an analytical Purchasing Executive to join our International Business & Retail unit.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who excels at administrative and operational skills, supporting the team in the day-to-day purchase activities, monitoring inventory of luxury brands which the Company represents.

The duties include:

  • Taking general responsibility for the day-to-day purchases undertaken by the Company, including budgeting, purchasing, accurate inventory control and supplier relationship management;
  • Generating accurate Purchase order and Purchase invoices using the Company’s stock management system in line with company procedures. Liaising other team members on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficiency in the Purchasing processes;
  • Maintaining excellent business relationships with the Company’s key customers and suppliers across all relevant areas of business;
  • Accurately manage and report purchasing budgets set by the company in line with Suppliers policies;
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels across different product categories.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Company’s distribution and wholesale operations;
  • General office administration and proper usage of the Company’s enterprise resource planning software for the accurate posting and recording of relevant transactions;
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of internal procedures and safeguarding the integrity of the Company’s enterprise resource planning software;
  • Report accurately and clearly on activities undertaken in procurement and providing management with requirement information;
  • Carry out any other task which may be reasonably required of him/her in this position.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in a similar industry, exposure and knowledge in fashion purchasing would be an asset;
  • Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in French and Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proficiency in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within set deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using modern business tools and software for analysis and reporting.
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel from time to time as needed within the role.
