Marsa, Malta – 
We are seeking a motivated and highly-organized part-time Client Support Officer to join our Malta-based Ship Supply Team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role is essential in ensuring that the Ship Supply team’s processes align with client demands. The successful candidate will work part-time in the afternoons, starting from 13:00 onwards.

The duties include:

  • Processing quotations and orders via the Group computer system.
  • Sending requests for prices to suppliers and following up on pending quotations.
  • Keeping track of prices received and forwarding quotations to clients.
  • Ensuring that client enquiries are responded to promptly.
  • Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and discounts with suppliers.
  • Managing procurement requests and ensuring timely acquisition of required goods.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders through the company’s procurement system
  • Carrying out any other tasks reasonably required in this position.

The ideal candidate:

  • Proficient in computer skills and fluent in both Maltese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Having a similar working experience and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experienced in sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement best practices.
  • Comfortable navigating a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Skilled in organizing tasks and meeting deadlines, even during busy periods.
  • Builds positive relationships and works well within a results-driven team.
  • Effective in negotiating, communicating clearly, and dealing with suppliers.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
