UNILEVER INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT VISIT

Unilever International’s management team, led by Anirban Mullick, Business Unit Head for Africa, made a significant visit to Salvo Grima Rwanda on August 12th.

The delegation, accompanied by Salvo Grima Rwanda’s General Manager, Donat Nsengayire was given an insightful tour of Kigali’s main depot and various retail shops across the city. This initiative underscores Unilever International’s commitment to expanding its footprint in Rwanda.

During the visit, key discussions were held on potential collaborations and strategies to enhance product availability and consumer reach in Rwanda. The delegation expressed keen interest in leveraging Rwanda’s growing market to support Unilever’s mission

UNILEVER KENYA MANAGEMENT VISIT

Kigali, Rwanda – August 16th -17th , 2024 – Unilever Kenya’s executive team, led by Ben Langat, Executive Vice President for East and West Africa, and Luck Ochieng, General Manager for Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania, conducted a successful visit to Salvo Grima Rwanda on August 14th and 15th. Accompanied by other Unilever staff, the delegation engaged in a series of strategic discussions and market explorations aimed at strengthening their partnership and expanding business opportunities in the region.

The delegation was warmly received by Salvo Grima’s top management, including Group CEO Karl Aquilina, Group General Manager (Distribution) Keith Spiteri, and Salvo Grima Rwanda General Manager. Together, they toured the Kigali main depot and visited key market areas, including both wholesale and retail outlets. This provided invaluable insights into consumer experiences and the local market dynamics.

During their visit, the team also engaged directly with consumers in their homes to better understand their experiences with Unilever products, reaffirming the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.

A highlight of the visit was their presence at the Kigali International Trade Fair, where Unilever and Salvo Grima showcased their latest product offerings and innovations. The event provided a platform for engaging with a broader audience.
